

It's nice to see characters dressing in (sometimes) less outlandish clothing.

As my now years-old lamentations of Soulcalibur VI's lack of unique alternates at launch have shown, Player 2 outfits are something we've taken for granted. Tekken 7's costume situation was admittedly throwing me off and I could not muster any way to parse what constituted what with all of the presets. As such, we're looking at samples of the many Player 2 costumes throughout the first six numbered games. Virtua Fighter effectively pioneered the trend, though I'd argue Tekken perfected it. Characters could get new looks, even if it was just a texture swap. One of the many benefits of fighting games jumping to the third dimension was ease of development in swapping out assets. Okay, we've looked at Tekken's Player 1 costumes in this thread, now let's look at the alternates.
